British singer-songwriter Benedict Cork has spent the past few years penning a series of EPs; ‘Piano Tapes Volume I' (2018), ‘Letters To Strangers’ (2019), 'Piano Tapes Volume II' (2020), ‘Secrets I’ll Never Tell' (2021) and his new EP 'If These Walls Could Talk' (2022).
His refreshing vulnerability and distinct brand of melancholic pop has pricked the ears of tastemakers BILLBOARD, CLASH and WONDERLAND. A frequent collaborator, teaming up with Tim Bran (London Grammar, Birdy, Rae Morris) and Justin Tailor (Rina Sawayama, Shamir) on his new EP, his efforts have seen him championed as “sensational” and “a name to look out for” in the eyes of Sir Elton John on his Rocket Hour radio show.
Benedict has played across Europe supporting Duncan Laurence. He’s also opened for Tom Walker and Emily King at home in the UK, as well as performing alongside icons Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie at the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park.
In 2021, Benedict released his profound ‘Secrets I'll Never Tell’ EP and worked on brand collaborations with fashion house Mugler and the mental health charity CALM, as well as a podcast miniseries also called 'Secrets I'll Never Tell' which featured frank conversations with fellow artists and collaborators around the themes of the EP, mental health, sexuality, identity and lots more.
