A native of New Jersey, Krysten originated the role of Mimi Marquez in the original productions of Rent in Toronto and London (for which she was nominated for an Olivier award) - a role she later played on Broadway.
Other theatre work includes the recent arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar (UK and Australian tour), The Fix (original London cast), the European premiere of Working and Voyeurz.
In addition to being an accomplished singer & songwriter, Krysten has shared the stage with such artists as Tina Turner and Chaka Khan.
Krysten joined Team UK in Eurovision 2013 as backing vocalist and keyboard player for Bonnie Tyler. She returned for Eurovision's 60th Anniversary year in Vienna to represent Azerbaijan.
On screen, Krysten starred as Detective Ellen Rios in the sequel to the cult horror hit The Descent (Lionsgate).
